Paintings inspired by Alberta’s landscapes.

Hello! I’m Carey. I’m an accountant by training turned artist. I am inspired by Alberta’s ever-changing scenery and nature within.  My work reflects my passion for painting and life as an Albertan.  Paint, colour and texture are thrilling to me as an artist and as a viewer.

My painting style is inspired by another local artist and friend, Marla Blackwell, who has been providing me with painting lessons since November 2020.   I’m excited to follow my passion for painting as it allows me to stay at home to raise my children and be available to my family while exploring my creative side and passion of art.
